A common mistake many players have against Falco is going into "turn-based" fighting mode. Dozens of times throughout the match you will see a window where you can space and throw out a hitbox and hope they don't shield

Two Common positions:
1. Falco aerials on and past your shield but he is too far to shine on you. He panic shields/rolls and you do an aerial out of shield but only end up hitting shield/air...

2. You're shielding and they're lasering right outside of your grab range, but within nair range. You time a nair in between a laser, but since laser is lagless, you hit shield. Nair OOS used to catch falco's off guard, but uair OOS is the way to go IMO.

Be aware of this cadence and break the tempo by attacking maybe a quarter second later, adding one more dashdance while they're shielding, etc. Recognize when he is the one reacting and you are the one initiating, and don't throw away the window with the obvious hasty aerial.

One gimmick for everyone to toy with against falco:

Shield grab the laser->falcon kick or double jump?
Mew2king and other fegs does it all the time with CC grab on any kind of weak move

Your falcon has received the PaperGator seal of GYOOD!
