During winter break, Winston magically figured out how to moopen, I magically figured out how to forward ports, and we wound up with a lot of moopen footage :bee:

In the middle of recording, we rediscovered the wonders of FALCON DITTOING :bee:

Remembering the other videos of Falcon dittos in years past (Falcon MAD, Cort's Falcon is the best character in this game), well...:bee:

Note - this video isn't a terribly serious combo video. :bee:

Take out the songs or use non-commercial music with a creative commons license and put it on youtube. You'll get WAY more views - I for one can't be arsed to download this the way it is right now, with no assurance of how good it may or may not be.

But I DO want to watch it!

C'mon man, it friggin' streams. It's like youtube but like...not on youtube. Don't be misled by the filefront :mad:

@ Nixxxon - hilariously enough, Winston won, even though I got credit for killing him. Thanks port priority or...whatever the hell happened there.

Winston gets props for the music (I was skeptical at first til I saw it with the video), however we can't find a version of it to put on youtube :(

You don't need to download, filefront streams (in case someone skips the first post but does read this one for some reason)

Omg great vid man, every combo is so funny/awesome/original. I'm also one of those people who always takes a lot of risk in friendlies, and when the other has only 1 stock and I have more I keep edgeguarding even when the other guy can't come back anymore. Kamikaze ftw!

What’s funny is I am a person who doesn’t take many risks in games (well some but not a high amount) yet I always find my self in stupid situations…I haz dah bad luck D:

There's something to be said about not trying too hard to do cool stuff :bee:
Playing intentionally goofy just gets you dumb clips :lick: although...these matches were by no means serious. Takes a little of both...or else it would've just been Uairs to UpB all day =(

Anyone who hasn't played much on DK64 needs to give it a whirl. Cannonhogs are so fun.

Haha I would NOT upload it with no music, no way >.> I spent way too much time editing it to synch, even though some parts are a tiny bit off still. One of the best parts of making a combo video is choosing the music =)

Chansey clip is definitely one of the best clips, along with the beginning tornado clip

EDIT: That was effing awesome. Ridiculous, intense combos and edgeguards and the usual hilarity that ensues with 2 Falcons. Good stuff. I laughed at the ending... always wondered if that can happen.

Use "free" music, IE music with a creative commons license, replacing the current copyright-protected music.

Here's a good place to grab a buttload of said music:

You can search genres, artists, etc. Lots of crap but the best stuff is really quite good. And of course you're free to use it as long as you credit the musician.

Yeah, you can change audio and choose between a lot of copyright-free music from YouTube.

You're aware that Falcon combos are probably the hardest combos in the game to DI right?

Both of us are quite competent with DI.
Winston plays keyboard, so his DI is...well...haxor keyboard DI...unless he misses or misDIs.
My DI is...at least as good as his on non-drill combos, unless I miss or misDI.

Even then, the fact that the hitstun in this game is ridiculous means that even good DI won't get you out of combos...it requires some really EXCEPTIONAL DI to actually get you someplace useful.

And it's not like this video is all drills and upairs right? ~_~ you make it sound like we're playing SSBM and all it shows are towards-DI combos...:(

It makes me want to make my own "funny **** that happened during my matches" video.
