Falcon and platforms

How should I incorporate platform into my game? They seems to mess me up more often than not.

learn to waveland. drop under them, then jump back up with an ariel. not really a falcon question, but hope that helped ^_^

but when you can't get really lucky.....

Under them use U-airs Up Smashs
they work well
Falcon is good with Platforms, use them to combo. they help you keep momentem and gain height.
learn to platform cancle and waveland and wavedash on platforms
so your game on platorm matchs your game on main ground

waveland, falling uairs, dairs to pop them up (g-reg falcon punch combo), usmashes/utilts underneath them, falling knees, etc

just simple stuff nothing really good besides fpc

K thanks the only things of your lists that I've done so far is waveland and dair to pop them up. I guess I just need more experience just using platforms.

fod is great practice bc its small so it gets you used to the cramped upness and the platforms vary in height a lot. do that for variation and battlefield for normality

I think you mean FoD
cause Dreamland 64 is huge

I don't like FoD too much. When the platforms are really low it really hampers my shuffling.

ya but it is a neutral stage so you gotta learn it no matter what D:

its good to get the plat practice and general practice

that would be ridculouse to always use your ban on that
there are a million other things to use it on
and just using your Ban on it isnt a good excuse to not practice it

what other stage should I use it on then?

Not like I wouldn't practice since I'm bound to play on it during friendlies.

Just saying if I ban FoD, it wouldn't be a liability during tournies

Falcon's platform game isn't bad, just UNBELIEVABLY OBVIOUS. Only thing I can think of is to work on grab (dthrow) combos that only work when throwing people off of platforms or edges.

Also, get good at using the two little platforms on PS in Uair juggles against heavies.
