come on admit it... weve all had that annoying marth who does nothing but forward smash and counter....
its so annoying... in fact i have a $15 money match tonite with the scungiest, noobiestest fsmashing marth in the world...
ive never won a match (adv techs and all) against this p****
so my question to you all is HOW DO YOU BEAT THIS STRATEGY?
mind games dont appear to work, you cant beat the C*** with priority cause he has like the biggest range ever... and anytime you do manage to land a hit he counters and your slammed on your *** screaming and swearing, and then the noob turns around and talks himself up just cause he won.... and then your like "ok rematch but no marth" and then hes like "marth is a god, you dont need crappy techniques like the gay dash to win"..... it makes me so angry...... calm down calm down calm down..... ah all better.... now wat was i thinking about.... oh yeah marth... i hate him i hate him i hate him....

if there is anything i can do...

spot dodge and long-ranged jump-ins (with someone fast like falcon) work wonders

or you could just go the shield -> aerial after whiffed fmash route, even fairly slow chars like puff do this easily
