Exploring the crowd reaction audio

What files have we - the hacking community - found that correspond to the crowd reaction.

The crowd cheers, "WE LIKE IKE! WE LIKE IKE" is a popular one.

Can we replace those files is what I'm ultimately asking.

If no one knows, then what needs to be done to find out.

Would it be the same as replacing stage or victory music? Or is it something more complex

They're SFX files obviously, so yes you could replace them but you'd need to use Riivolution for that. And it's a lot more complex as the current way to make SFX the proper filetype is ... a *****.

I would get into programming with C and help Bero out with his community BrawlBox collaboration since Kyral won't be back for an unknown period of time.

No, SFX is WAY harder than stage/victory music. We only have VILE's tutorial for SFX, while BRSTM making is hell easy.

IMO it would be great to know what exactly causes the crowd cheering to happen. Like, what conditions actually have to be met in order for the crowd to start cheering.

I thought I heard that you have to have over 100% and to be doing well in battle.

That doesn't tell us what the exact definition from brawl of what "doing well" is. Perhaps this might lie within fighter.pac. I'll see if I can find anything.

Okay, thanks for letting me know. It would've been nice to find out what brawl defines as "doing well", but eh, it's not that useful to know. Just another one of those small things. :l

there is a 4.0 beta FPC out, it can replace sound effects, but it glitches up a lot of other things...

I'm pretty sure "doing well" is landing 2 or 3 hits with a fairly large amount of knockback in quick succession.

Actually, I've noticed it most happen when that person who is attacking them has really high %, usually above 100%.

Well that too obviously, the person has to be at least 100% damage.
