Explanining The Command Selection + Special Moves

:ulthero: INTRODUCTION - What does MP stand for?
MP stands for Magic Points/Mana. Your MP (Magic Points or Mana) decreases whenever you do input a spell (your special moves).


:ulthero: SECTION 1 - How many special moves/commands are there?
There is a total of 30 spells in Hero's kit. I will explain each of them in some rows.


>Neutral B
-Frizz (Level 1 Fire Spell) - Shoots a small and slow fireball, limited (-6 of MP)
*Input : Tap :GCB: for charging animation and tap :GCB: again

-Frizzle (Level 2 Fire Spell) - Shoots a slightly big and fast fireball (-16 of MP)
*Input : Once those yellow swirls circle around him, tap :GCB:

-Kafrizz (Level 3 Fire Spell) - Shoots a bigger and faster fireball, multi-hits opponent up to 5 (-36 of MP)
*Input - Just tap :GCB: to charge Kafrizz



>Side B
-Zap (Level 1 Electric Spell) - Shoot out an electric bolt on hit at close range (-8 of MP)

*Input - Hold :GCR::GCB: or :GCL::GCB: and quickly release

-Zapple (Level 2 Electric Spell) - Shoot out a bigger electric shock at medium range (-18 of MP)

*Input - Hold :GCR::GCB: OR :GCL::GCB: till you see those yellow swirls circle around him, then release

-Kazap (Level 3 Electric Spell) - Strikes a thunder bolt along with a hitbox on his sides, finishes off with a spinning slash (-42 of MP)

*Input - Just Hold :GCR::GCB:




>Up B

-Woosh (Level 1 Wind Spell) - A small tornado sending you slightly upwards (-5 of MP)

*Input - Just Tap :GCU::GCB:

-Swoosh (Level 2 Wind Spell) - A big tornado sending you upwards (-9 of MP)

*Input - Hold :GCU::GCB: till you see those yellow swirls circle around him, release

-Kaswoosh (Level 3 Wind Spell) - 2 big tornadoes, increases your vertical distance to go up further

*Input - Just Hold :GCU::GCB:




>COMMAND SELECTION
The inputs for command selection is :GCD::GCB: + :GCA:, :GCB: or :GCZ: (grab). You can move with your analog stick or your D-Pad. In my opinion, the D-Pad movement is more faster than the analog sticks'.


~Fire Spell Commands

-Bang (Level 4 Fire Spell/Fire Spell Command) - shoot out a small fire orb (-9 of MP)

-Kaboom (Level 5 Fire Spell/Fire Spell Command) - shoot out a bigger fire orb (-37 of MP)

-Sizz (Level 6 Fire Spell/Fire Spell Command) - sends out a quick and fast fireball at medium range (-8 of MP)

-Sizzle (Level 7 Fire Spell/Fire Spell Command) - sends out a more bigger Sizz at long range (-20 of MP)

-Flame Slash (Level 8 Fire Spell/Fire Spell Command) - sends out a slash with flames (-12 of MP)



~Movement/Defense/Attack/Regeneration Commands
-Accelerate (Movement Command) - increases your speed on the ground and in the air, lasts about 8 seconds (-13 of MP)

-Bounce (Defense Command) - a large shield that allows you to reflect projectiles, lasts about 10-11 seconds (-14 of MP)

-Heal (Regeneration Command) - heals you 11% (-7 of MP)

-Kaclang (Defense Command) - turns you into metal, can't move or input any attack or special, lasts about 5 seconds (-6 of MP)

-Oomph (Attack Command) - increases your attack power, lasts about 8 seconds (-16 of MP)

-Psych Up (Attack Command) - increases your attack power on one attack or special, (-14 of MP)


~Sword/Swing Commands
-Hatchet Man (Sword/Swing Command) - A forward thrust attack, has a critical hit (-15 of MP)

-Flame Slash (Sword/Swing Command) - ALREADY MENTIONED IN FIRE SPELL COMMANDS ABOVE

-Kacrackle Slash (Sword/Swing Command) - sends out a slash with ice (-11 of MP)

-Metal Slash (Sword/Swing Command) - a one-hit KO slash, do this in a Hero vs Hero matchup if someone inputs a Kaclang spell. (-6 of MP)


~Recovery Command
-Zoom (Recovery Command) - recover from anywhere (from bottom blastzone to upwards blastzone) (-8 of MP)



~Instant KO/Broken/OP Commands
-Kamikaze (Broken/OP Command) - self destruct (-1 of MP)

-Magic Burst (Broken/OP Command) - create a giant dark explosion, this can affect your damage (ALL of MP)

-Wack (Broken/OP Command) -create a small dark orb that has a chance of an instant KO (-10 of MP)

-Thwack (Broken/OP Command) - creates a more bigger dark orb that also has a bigger chance of an instant KO (-30 of MP)




~Projectile Command
-Snooze (Projectile Command) - shoot out a sleepy spell to put the opponent to sleep (-16 of MP)



~Random Command
Hocus Pocus (Random Command) - given a random spell or item (-4 of MP)




If you still find these commands/special moves hard, test them out and experience them.

Since you took the time to make a thread for the specials, I think it's worth mentioning also that while down-b can't be reversed to change direction, once the command menu is up, if you hold left or right as you press a or b, you can use the spell you select in the direction you pressed.
