depends on 2 things
*memory
*connection speed

If your CPU memory is maybe at 526mb (most people have these days) you will be fine.
And your ISP needs to be good.

From what I here there is a entrant cap of 128 players so I hope that's incentive to register early, I know smash has a ton of players usually so yeah register early.
