Who is Emmet Brickowski?
Emmet is the main character of The LEGO Movie (2014), its sequel The LEGO Movie: The Second Part (2019), as well as a "4D" movie at LEGOLand and tie-in videogames for both of the movies. He is an "everyman" who is regular construction worker who ends up becoming part of the Resistance to save the LEGO world from President Business's evil plans.

Why should Emmet get in Multiversus?
LEGO is one of the world's largest toy brands, and The LEGO Movie franchise specifically is owned by Warner Bros, giving him a massive edge over LEGO's other IPs in terms of making sense for Multiversus. He does have competition from other characters in this franchise (including Wyldstyle/Lucy, Metalbeard, and Unikitty; Unikitty in particular also had her own show on Cartoon Network) but, despite how much of a Unikitty fan I am, I feel like Emmet would embody the "LEGO" vibe the best and would have a more interesting moveset.

What obstacles does Emmet face?
The LEGO Movie franchise is not currently an active franchise, and WB does not currently own the rights to create new LEGO movies (Universal does until 2025.) Furthermore, WB and PFG will need to negotiate with LEGO, and LEGO may not want representation in a T-rated game where Emmet will be shot with real guns, occasionally cursed at, ect. While LEGO does have its own mode in Fortnite, the LEGO mode is separate from the rest of the game and more carefully regulated. While you might bring up that it would be hard to get Chris Pratt to voice him, he already has other voice actors for the LEGOLand attraction and for tie-in games (A.J. LoCascio and Keith Ferguson.)

What kind of moveset would Emmet have?
I have my own idea for a moveset, described here:
Class: Mage
Emmet has a unique mix of stage control objects and ways to support his teammates using his Master Builder abilities, plus the ability to threaten enemies with them using his Master Breaker ability as well.

Passives:
Armored Mech:
A few of his moves use his mech, which is based on the wrecking-ball-wielding one he builds at the end of the first movie, but VASTLY smaller, such that it barely increases the size of his hurtbox. If he is hit while in the mech, he has a flat minus-1 damage reduction per hit until he exits hitstun.

INSPIRED Effect:
One of his moves applies INSPIRED to teammates, which is indicated by a group of LEGO bricks orbiting that teammate. If the teammate performs a grounded dodge, a stack is consumed to create a wall of LEGO bricks that blocks projectiles and enemies from passing it, although it will be destroyed instantly if an ally touches it. If they instead perform an airdodge, a stack will be consumed to spawn a temporary soft platform at their feet when the dodge ends.

Grounded Attacks:
Ground Neutral Attack: Wrecking Ball
Emmet uses the mech to slam two wrecking balls into the ground directly in front of him. Looks very similar to Jake's neutral ground attack. Can be CHARGED.

Jab: Awkward Martial Arts
Emmet does an awkward karate chop, then an awkward kick, then turns around and butt-bumps the enemy away. The chop and the kick make him lunge forward slightly so that they don't have absolutely abysmal range.

Ground Up Attack: A Quick Fix
Emmet takes out a wrench and jumps up, and goes through the motion of fixing a leaking pipe above him. Results in him being in the air at the end. Can be CHARGED to make him jump higher.

Ground Down Attack: Something that Spins Around
Emmet attaches a wagon wheel to his head and lets the wheel roll around in a circle on the ground, hitting both sides. It hits behind him later but that hitbox is slightly stronger.

Air Attacks:
Neutral Air: Real Life Spin
Emmet does a 360 front flip, stiff as a board, no animation besides spinning. Looks similar to Hugh Neutron's nair.

Side Air: Immediate Demolition
Uses the mech to swing a wrecking ball horizontally in front of him. Can be CHARGED.

Up Air: Aerial Wrecking Spin
Emmet uses the mech to twirl a wrecking ball above his head. Hits only once but lingers for a bit and makes him stall for a moment.

Down Air: Aggressive Restructuring
Slams down a bunch of mechanical parts. Based on when he confronts Lord Business at the end of the first movie and picks up a bunch of parts to smash some of the other robots. Can be CHARGED.

Specials:
Up Special: Double-Decker Couch
Emmet spawns his double decker couch below him. It unfolds as it spawns, which launches Emmet up and knocks enemies away. If spawned in the air, it falls down extremely slowly. Both allies and enemies can bounce on the top of the couch, like a trampoline. If it is destroyed using Master Breaker, it produces an explosion at the couch's position and launches a spray of LEGO pieces, the direction of which depends on exactly where Emmet hit it. All players (both allies and enemies) may sit on the couch using the Interact button, and there's enough space for all 4 players to sit on it. It has a cooldown.

Cooldown Up Special: Out of Ideas
Emmet clicks together a tile and an L-plate, then throws them behind him over his shoulder as a weak antiair projectile. If used midair, it will boost him upwards slightly when he throws it.

Neutral Special: Planty
Emmet summons Planty at his location, who is attached to one of those wheeled push carts. Planty can be launched around by both the player and allies, similar to Bugs' safe. If launched into enemies, it inflicts a weak knockback and SLOWED. If launched into allies, it grants two stacks of INSPIRED. If it is hit by Master Breaker, it has a unique upward trajectory where it comes down with far more falling speed than if it were launched by any other move. It is possible for Emmet to use this to hit himself with Planty to give INSPIRED to himself. Has a cooldown. If you neutral special with it on cooldown, Emmet goes through the motion of summoning Planty, which has a weak melee hitbox.

Side Special: Pave the Way/Instant Infrastructure
On the ground, Emmet rushes forward with a handheld construction rolling device that creates a new freshly paved road as he runs, sort of like Inkling side special. In the air, he rushes forward which using his Master Builder skills to create a bridge that acts as a soft platform. Both surfaces boost the running speed of allies (which is converted into air speed if they jump while running on them.) If he uses Master Breaker on either surface, an explosion will ripple across the surface in both directions, destroying the surface. Has a cooldown. If used on the ground on cooldown, he will do the rolling attack but will not create a road. If used in the air on cooldown, he will rush forward while flailing his arms, which won't create a bridge (but it does let you drift up or down, like other horizontally dashing moves.)

Down Special: Master Breaker
Emmet powerfully punches the ground, which creates an AOE shockwave. If used in midair, he will plunge downward and will do the punch if he lands on the ground, on an enemy, or on one of his summoned objects. Punching an enemy midair does not spike them, and is instead a combo starter/extender. As aforementioned, it interacts with his spawnables.

Signature Perks:

Seat of Inspiration:
Both Emmet and his allies can gain INSPIRED by sitting on the Double-Decker Couch.

Honey, where are my paaaants?
Planty is replaced by a TV depicting the show Honey, Where are my Pants? Enemies struck by the TV get CHARMED. Allies do not get INSPIRED.

Skins?
The LEGO Movies have some decent costume potential for Emmet, some of the more notable ones being his pajamas and his cowboy outfit. He could also potentially have Rex Dangervest as a Legendary skin since they're actually the same guy.
