Seriously. This is what I've found out recently- EVERYBODY's weird. This might sound weird and stupid but it's true. At least to me and my friends. They totally think everyone's weird. Everyone has their own freakin' UNIQUENESS. E.g. I have a friend that throws the GC controller whenever he lost. Regardless if its his or not. And this other friend of mine that freakin' gets hyper in the worst situation ever. Even my sister's weird. She can sleep wherever she wants. LIKE on the strangest places ever.

I mean seriously. Look around you. Think about your friends, family. Don't they all have their own weirdness? I'm not saying I'm NORMAL cause I can't even define what normal is. I'm weird enough to make this thread up. Gosh.

Agree?

None of your business.
Agreed. Weirdness is mostly classified into two categories: Those who are weird publically and those who are weird to themselves.

Those who are weird publically are always called 'strange' or 'unorthodox' by other people.

Those who are weird to themselves are people who other people don't know are weird.

Why yes, everyone has a personality.

Everyone has ears, too. Did you notice that? But here's the kicker-- some people's ears are bigger or smaller than mine. Now that's crazy!

And also, everybody's not weird for having a personality, since it's completely normal to be different. How's that?

What's weird? If EVERYONE is different, how can there be a "difference."

I'm saying that because nobody's "normal". And we don't even know the definition of "normal".

Maybe we can imagine a guy that does normal things...but that would also be weird because normal people does weird things...wait... what?

I'm confused.

Don't say 'we'. I know what the definition is, as do most other people.

Normal is average. If everybody does one thing, it's normal. If everybody acts different due to something called a personality, that's normal.

Now, there are cases in which normal to one person could be weird to another.

I live in the southern Utah desert. It gets to be around 50-70 degrees here during the fall/winter, and I think it's freezing. It's usually 110 in the summer. It's normal for people here to think that 60 degrees is a pretty cold day. In northern Utah, it snows constantly during the fall and winter, and it really is freezing. If they were to travel the 5 hours to southern Utah, they'd think it's warm.

They'd think we're weird, because we thought it was cold-- but the 60 degrees isn't weird to them, because they know what cold is. We don't, because it isn't ever cold here.

Therefore, anything that pretty much everyone (as a whole) does, is considered normal. The fact that everyone has a unique personality isn't weird, due to the fact that the word 'everyone' is placed before it.

anyone who tried to pretend they're "normal" end up looking like idiots... people need to just embrace their weirdness... :)
Not exactly. It's human nature to be somewhat xenophobic (not sure if that's really the right word). We like being in a sort of community of people who act similarly to us (we would consider this normal) and dislike those who act differently.

I think most people are a lot weirder than they seem.

People tend to hide their weirdness in public, and only let it show to people they're close to and comfortable with. If you're around people you don't know very well, you generally try to act as normal as possible so as not to turn anybody off.

Of course, some people don't bother trying to disguise their weirdness at all, and I usually find those people either to be the most annoying I've ever met, or the most interesting. Sometimes a combination of the two.

... that made no sense.

That or it made so much sense it made my brain go numb.
No, it made no sense. Basically what he said was that because a and b and c are all different from d, a and b and c have no difference between them.

Or in less confusing terms, everyone is different, so no one is different.

But it sounds good.

When did I say I was going to kill you?

Shouldn't have brought that up. Now you've put that thought in my head.

People, Get back on topic. WTF is spooning or maces or a glaive?? Stop talking about Maple story or whatever.

Back to replying.. Oh wow, Ok. You DO know the definition of what "normal" is. But I don't think there're actually normal people. That's because whatever you're doing, there will be people thinking that you're weird.

Just like Norcal people and Socal people. (I'm from Socal) Norcal people call clubbing, "GIGGING", but down here in socal, we don't know the freak Gigging is and we think its weird. But back in Norcal, its normal.

So basically what you were saying is right. Your point was that people will always think that other people are weird. Just cause they don't normally do it.

Norcal people say hella, too. Socal people don't.

LMAO.

I like to swim in a pool of strawberry pudding while wearing women's underwear singing "White 'n Nerdy" to my favorite bowling ball. I guess you could say it's a fetish of mine.

I don't think that makes me weird.

I mean, I'm sure everyone does something like that at least once in a while.

What I think might be a little weird is my propensity to stuff live cockroaches down babies' throats in front of their mothers. I usually drug the mothers with chloroform so they don't get too upset.

Oh man guys I'm totally joking.

Is it weird that I could actually think of something like that?

That was freakin random.
I think you kinda swallowed your own words there.
He was saying something that most people would go "WTF" at, and deem it "Weird". It seems you deem it "Weird" yourself.

How weird! :p

Uh-oh. I do that occasionally.

It's actually more to see the other person's reaction than to garner attention though. Like my previous post in this thread, I guess.

Like there's a difference. That's just an excuse for, I demand useless attention.
