Hi, USA!
My name is Robin (better known in Europe as Tonberry) and I'm interested in going to Genesis this summer. I'm 20 years old, and I live in Norway.
My only issue here is that I need housing. I'm planning to stay from the 2nd - 13th, where I need housing between the 2nd and the 10th. The reasons why I'm planning to come so early is:
- I've never been in the USA before, so I'd like to do some sightseeing and explore the country.
- I got a pretty nice price for flights from that day, which I pretty much can afford.
My only requirement for the housing is that I want to get housed by someone who will go to Genesis. In that way I got someone to travel with to the venue. As said; I've never been to America before, so it might be hard for me to find the venue all on my own
With this said, I'm a Melee player (I play SSB64 as well), who don't really enjoy playing Brawl. So it would be cool if someone who enjoys playing Melee would like to house me. In that way I might get some practice playing in the NTSC version of the game
HOWEVER, this is not a requirement. I'll just be happy if some kind soul would like to house me
I'm also willing to pay to get housed, as long as it doesn't cost too much, I have a limited amount of money... My whole chance to come to USA lies in your hands, I'm really grateful if someone can make this wish of mine come true. After all, my game is a dying game, and this is probably my only chance to attend an American Melee tourney.
