Ethernet Kings #1 - A SSBM Netplay Tournament (US)

Hello! Welcome to the first netplay tournament i'm organizing for SSBM.

I've been playing a lot lately and i've seen some serious talent in the netplay community, and I thought that it'd be fun to organize a tournament and see who is the best around.

How To Play (abridged):

1. Obtain a copy of SSBM 1.02
2. Download Dolphin DC-Netplay 4.0-648 or 4.0-652
3. Options->Wiimote Settings->Disable all
4. Options->Configure->Gamecube->Memory Card Slots->Disable all
5. Right click SSBM in Dolphin->Properties->AR Codes->Check "Global Melee Netplay Settings"
6. Right click SSBM in Dolphin->Properties->Info->Confirm Revision is "2"

Format:

• 1v1 Singles
• Double-elimination
• 16 Players
• Best of 3
• Best of 5 (Winners/Losers/Grand Finals)
• No prize, just for fun and bragging rights

Rules:

• Smashboards Melee Ruleset
• United States players only
• Dolphin DC-Netplay 4.0-648 or 4.0-652 required
• Any matches delayed more than 15 minutes due to your PC/emulator issues will result in a lost set (you can test out netplay on Anther's Ladder)
• Who strikes first stages will be determined via random number generator (since we can't RPS)

Date & Time:

• September 21, 2014 (Sunday)
• 5:00 PM EST (converter)
• Feel free to show up earlier to play friendlies/get your matches done earlier.
