[From the OP:
Rules: bold your actions
Suggestions: 1 action at a time please

If you figure out the puzzle too quickly, give other people a chance to figure it out. However if you are struggling always post your ideas before you put in an answer.]

All of a sudden - as if your whole life never happened - you awaken in a place that you have no relationship to. You take an unoriented breath and look around as if there was something exciting, something magnificent to be seen. But everywhere you look there are only rocks - they apprear unbearably inexpressive, almost cynical, as if they were only waiting for you to appear out of the thin air and make you feel even more helpless with their deliberately empty faces. Other than rocks there's not much to be seen - it's quite dark, so it must be either night or you're stuck in some sort of cave. The only ray of light is coming from a crack way above. It could be the broken ceiling of an old cave that the world has forgotten about long ago or it could just be a scar in a run-down carpet of black clouds. With almost violently forced indifference you tell yourself that regardless of whether following this light will lead you to freedom or death you should follow it - after all, staying in place will not exactly increase your chances of survival.

Not too long after starting to walk on you realize that indeed you are in a cave and that in fact, the light has led you to a wall. To your own misbelieve the wall appears to have some sort of script carved into it: "Chamber 1" it says and as if the wall could read your every thought it opened a secret door as soon as the final letter of the script faded from your sight. You take another deep breath and step through the door that openend into another room - well lighted, for the first time since you've found yourself in this disturbing place. The room actually turns out to be more of a hall but it's not particularly big. It has a small, circle shaped heightening in its center upon which three devices are arraned in a triangle shape.

You step onto the heightening and examine them for a bit. There is a little board of stone with carvings in it and - to your surprise - a stone keyboard with all 26 letters of the latin alphabet. Before deciding to try out whether the keys are working or not you take a closer look at all three stone boards and check out the carvings. They look like this:

Board 1:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Board 2:
_ _ _ _ _ | _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Board 3:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ _

There's something on the ground in the middle of the hightening - the point where you're standing right now - that looks a bit like carvings. It's square shaped but it doesn't move.

Make mental image of what the place looks like
You place yourself into the center of the room and look around. Right now, you are standing in the center of a circle-shaped heightening that has a radius of approximately 2 meters. Near the edge of the heightening, arranged in a triangle shape are the three devices:

If you go further than 2 meters from the center you will step down from the heightening - it isn't actually high at all, just a little bit as if to point out some sort of importance to it. If you step another meter away from the heightening you will walk into a pillar. There are 8 of them, all arranged one meter away from the heightening. Only one meter further you will already reach the wall of the room and once again they are circle-shaped. As you see, the room isn't particularly big - just a circle with a radius of 4 meters overall. If you looked at the room from above you'd see two full circles [The walls of the room and the heightening in its center] and 8 pillars arranged in a circle around the heightening. There is nothing else to be seen right now other than the square shaped carving in the center of the heightening - the spot you're standing on right now.

The whole room looks remarkably plain. There are no ornaments whatsoever and everything in it seems to have a clear, simple purpose. It is clear that this room has been created by an intelligent designer because all parameters - the distances between the individual pillars and the distances between the circles as well as the angles of the triangle-shaped arrangement of the devices - are pedantic-accurately measured.

Examine the thing on the ground, try read the carvings
You look at the carvings in the center of the heightening and try to find out if there's some meaning to them. However, there is nothing but a carved square within the solid rock of the floor. There is literally nothing but rock, dust and that carved square that appears to useless.

Analyze each device, but I do not touch them

As a side note, thanks for doing this Gheb, I really enjoyed the first ESCAPE that Macman posted and I'm glad you're continuing the series.

All devices look almost exactly the same. They're basically small boards of stone with something that appears to be a keyboard - with all 26 letters of the latin alphabet - and carvings next to them that look like this:

Board 1:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Board 2:
_ _ _ _ _ | _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Board 3:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ _

The carvings are the only thing that varies about the boards.

You're standing in the middle of the room right now. There is no letter 'a' and nothing to type on.

Go over to the small boards that resemble a keyboard with the latin alphabet. Try and type in something by pressing the 'a' Key.

Push BSL aside and Enter 'b' into the first board.
You walk over to the second board where BSL is standing, pushing him on the floor for no reason then walk back to the first boards and type in "b". Upon doing this the carvings slightly change:

Board 1:
_ _ _ _ _ _ a _ _ _
_ _ _ _ b _ _ a _ _
