Escape from grab punish?

Does anyone think they should add a mechanic where if you escape from somebody grab you should be able to get a free punish? Grabs can be really spammable and even if you mash out the opponent can just defend especially at high percentage your body just flies back when you break free and you can’t punish at al

Grabs aren't spammable, especially with the low range characters (basically everyone in the roster) If youre getting grabbed a lot, its probably an issue with how you distance yourself from your opponent. If you do manage to escape a grab, you will more or less be able to take stage control with a well timed aerial, or at least get yourself to somewhere safe.

do you mean you should get a punish opportunity if you manage to mash out of a grab ?!

That wouldn’t really solve your problem. At least i myself rarely encounter people who don’t know how many hits per grab you can give without the opponent being able to mash out.

Just get better at spacing and be careful with dash attacks.

Breaking grabs resets the neutral. You aren’t obligated to get a free punish if you were the one who got caught in the first place.
