Since Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon was already released in Europe and North America a few months ago, do you think Nintendo would give Marth English voice acting now if Masahiro Sakurai decides to create another Super Smash Bros game several years in the future? If so, who?
Before anyone asks, the reason why both Marth and the rejected clone, Roy, didn't have
English voice acting while Ike and Lyn have English voice acting is because both Marth and Roy appeared in games that weren't released outside of Japan at the time when SSBB was released while Lyn and Ike did (although the first is from a game that have no voice acting at all because it was a GBA game). Also, the Fire Emblem OVA DOES NOT COUNT because it was dubbed at the time when Fire Emblem series wasn't really popular outside of Japan.
But if you ask me, I would have Elijah Woods voices Marth while James Arnold Taylor (the guy who does Tidus' voice acting in Final Fantasy X as well as other voice acting like Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank series) voices Roy. But anyways, this is my personal opinion since I often prefer dubs over subs when it comes to Japanese video games and anime (unless if the English voice acting happen to suck). But I'm guessing no one pays attention to WHO does the english voice acting nowadays.
