Some? I meant 62.

Though some of them are a little different, most are Marth vs. Lucario. I think they started off pretty bad, but ended up evening out somewhat near the end. Maybe I'm wrong.

Whew. That's quite a bit.

The other matches had me playing other characters, and Wizard often switched to Ness for those other matches.

Maybe just pick out a few you'd like for others to watch and critique? I mean I had to threaten people just to reply to a thread with seven videos...

Funny that, I'd put this up on the Lucario boards to get input from both ends and the Lucario users were all over this. Some even wanted to watch all of them.

...I'll take note of that, then.

That's a lot of matches. Maybe you should edit your post and bring it down to 3 that you think really showcases your typical marth Marth, and then ask people to critique it. That's just a wall of links that i don't want to go anywhere near.

Are you asking for a critique? If so, pick about 3 videos that you would like to see critiqued (for whatever reason), and I'll take a look at them.

okay, i just picked some random videos to watch and the first thing that i noticed was that 90% when you approached with a Fair you did a full jump, not a SH. Doing so limits your choices of what to do after the initial fair. If you SH instead you can DI back, FF, or do a double Fair. You use dancing blade well enough to rack up damage.

However, the Lucario you play is definitely not at your level so I can't draw much more from the vids . It would also be good to post some vids (or label) the ones where you lose too.

Critiquing you is difficult because you're on a step above your friend in terms of skill level. If we were to put this in scale with the computer levels (1-9), I'd say you're about a 6 and your friend a 5. Please note that I consider a 5 as average, and there is nothing wrong with being an average player. Your spacing wasn't terrible, but I noticed lots of missed hits due to you being just a tad bit too far from your foe. Missing is bad. Also, you used Dancing Blade as your primary method of racking up damage. While it isn't a bad way to go, since you used it almost exclusively to put damage on your foe, the decay was visible. Mix up your attacks.

Also, not enough Shield Breakers. Don't get fooled into thinking it's a useless ability. It's just as good if not better than smashes.

That's all I'm going to say for now. If you could fight someone who is on par with you in terms of skill level, or maybe a step better than you, it would really help me point out your problem areas. Because right now, watching a video of you destroying someone weaker than you doesn't really lend well to us helping to make you better.

I don't think I've built enough pressure to force him to block rather than roll/spotdodge most of the time, though. I did do a few attempter Shieldbreaks but only one went off(match 56)
