PockyD- How will the bill for EZ pass help? By the time he gets the bill, we will have all divided up the costs best we could, and the whole thing will be forgotten about. He isn't gonna all 7 of us 3 weeks later and say "hey everyone owes me another 2 dollars". So the bill will come to late for it to be a practical solution. I think everyone should just pay 3 dollars for tolls. I highly doubt the trip will be more than $24 in tolls round trip. I remember driving down to south carolina (about a half hour from geogia) we spent most of it on I 95, and I remember VERY few tolls, especially in the southern states.

Eggm- I think we should leave at 8am. If we leave at 9 from philly, and the drive takes us 14 hours, we will make it by 1am. Thats WITHOUT any stops... If we do leave at 8, I was thinkin about stayin the night at your place Tim. Would you be ok with this?

Sad update. The shop that has had this van in it for 2 weeks to fix a problem the van had, cannot figure out whats wrong with it. >.> I'm going to attempt to bring it to a new shop or have me and my dad look at it and fix it before friday morning, I'll keep everyone updated. <_<

OK my bad, i figured since you all saw each other semi-regularly that.. never mind this is a pointless argument about personal preferences

in reality though, you could probably find out the total cost you need to pay in tolls in under 10 mins using the internet

Ok long story short my aunts van has mechincal troubles all of a sudden, so seeing as how i'm amazing I got us my grandfathers SUV which actually seats 8. I redid the calculations with 8 people split and 15 MPG. Its going to be like 57 each with toll around 60 probably. So everyone bring 65ish!! it could be more/less than 60 not sure. M2k/cactuar/eggm/djn are ok with this price and people i've talked to so far. Hopefully reno/jfox/scar/vidjo can handle this price otherwise I don't know what we'll do. Anyways this comfortably seats 8 so this is probably better this way.

Also scar has a Cigarette lighter adapter that goes into 2 outlets. If he brings it we can have a tv + gc no lag for the trip which would be amazing scar dont' let us down you newb. I was gonna order one but scar said he could get it. So don't yell at me if we have no tv for 12 hours. We have 4 drivers, and reno if we really need him (even tho hes inexperienced and i'd rather not unless its an emergency.) So like 3 hours each, thats not bad. LETS DO IT. 9 AM in philly be ready. 8 AM Friday in manasquan be at my house, or sleep over on Thursday night. Thats all. Eggm out.

R3NO, I gotcha on the sleeping bag. As for the gas, the best thing to do is just count up as we fill up at each stop, and than split it 8 ways at the end of the trip.

Its more money cause the SUV uses more gas. Its all I could do on short notice. Jfox I was planning on adding the money from each toll and fill up, but I wanted to give an overestimate for everyone so they have enough money with them. (even tho its not much of an overestimate I fear).
