SMASH DOUBLES RULES

No pools for doubles

Items: Off

Double elimination
-Bracket matches best 2/3
-Semi-finals best 3/5
-Finals best 3/5
-4 stock 8 minute time limit
-Team attack on, Life stealing allowed.

Stages: TBD (will be the homogeneous stages from every other tournament you've been to)
-First stage random from the neutral stages (FD, Battlefield, Pokemon stadium, Fountain of dreams, Yoshi's story, Dreamland 64).
-You're allowed to reset the random stage once per set. This applies to your opponent as well. Stage banning is legal only if all players agree.


Dave's stupid rule: Does not apply in teams.

SMASH SINGLES RULES

Items: Off

-Singles pools 2 rounds per matchup
-Pools only affect seeding; everyone from pools will make it to the bracket. This may cause some ****ed up brackets, but it will leave everyone happier than being eliminated out of pools.

-Semi-finals best 3/5
-Finals best 3/5
-4 stock 8 minute time limit

Advanced slob picks: The loser of the 1st match chooses the stage for the 2nd match, the winner then has the opportunity to change characters. After the winner has decided on their character, the loser may choose his/her counterpick character.

Daves stupid rule: YOU CAN'T WIN TWICE ON THE SAME STAGE IN 1 SET. This resets at the start of the second set if your bracket match with someone expands to 2 sets.

CT4 is booked for May, but I won't make a thread until closer to the date.

Other fighting games: Every other fighting game.

I don't think there will be a brawl event, or a 64 event. Due to setups needing to be used by multiple other tournaments running simultaneously.

This is a Shiro thing. But this time, I'm running Smash, not Shiro.

I went to one of the street fighter tournaments in Edmonton, and holy ****. I don't even play, but that **** was hotter than that diego parry vid.

Some yun player parried a whole chun li super unto some amazing combo.

This tournament how ever and every one ive had after the one at "touch of the" and has had players of al ages, as carl has said he came to one.

So don't worry about any thign Levi, things will run smoothly. the complet list of games goes as fallows.
