What's the fastest way to grab the ledge with Snake after Mortar Sliding right to the side?

Walk off-fastfall.

I fall past the ledge. I've tried DI'ing back towards it, but I fall too far. I can only grab onto the ledge if I tap off then towards the ledge very quickly, but it's not consistent.

If its not consistent, you can just move your thumb in a quick, 180 degree motion. Its more work to do but, its more efficient.

i think the term is "hugging" if you do that DAUsmash slide to the edge or just at the edge... Quarter turning your analog stick will be best... It's quite fast...

so its walk off... FF... DI towards stage...
