Seen it in a few videos, particularly Soldier of Fortune. When Bombsoldier is on the edge, he ledgedrops, Up+b and then grabs the ledge again. Any point in this, or is he just showboating?

And on an entirely unrelated note: Holy crap, I'm actually KIND of improving with Falco. Surprisingly used the wavedash in a 1vs1 with my brother. :o

Oh right, it's called 'wavedashing' as a verb. <_<

Nice vid JS.

But you're mostly invincible during it. Its still possible to be knocked out of it but it a lot faster than a typical jumping reset.

on teh edge, throwin dem eggz~~
Invincibility frames. It's useful when timed correctly 'cause you can remain on the edge instead of being knocked off, even if it's staying for a few seconds more. It may even postition your opponent in your favour (I remember seeing in a video) for follow-up combo's etc. For example, during Roy's up-b.

If done correctly, the firestall leaves you completely invincible, allowing you to wait until your opponent positions themselves wrong or does an attack.

The firestall if done perfectly WILL NOT allow for complete invincibility, end of story.

Illusion-stall however, cna provide completely invincibility if done FRAME PERFECT.
