Edge Guarding with Marth's Sword Dance

Was wondering if any Marth mains use Marth's sword dance for edge guarding for K/O's or gimps? I usually only see players using F. Smashes or tilts when edge guarding. I'm trying to find new and unusual ways to take advantage of all of Marth's move set and hotboxes so anything relevant would be much appreciated.

I Know that Marth's Swords Dance 3 (Down) spikes, and I was thinking about using it as a potential edge guard technique. But I'm having trouble landing the hit. Any Tips?

It works as shown in the video, but it's not really all that optimal and is very situational.

tbh it depends on the opponents di bc it can be escaped out of pretty easily

Dancing sword hit 3 is actually a pretty bad option for Marth in that situation.

If your opponent sweetspots the ledge, you will never hit them, so it only really works if they mess up their recovery.

Stick with fsmash, dtilt, or dair if you're going to ledgeguard from onstage, they all have hitboxes that go below the stage edge.
