yeah isn't it caused by the momentum of the first knee still carrying the bowser to the left then the other knee hits him and the momentum sends him the other way but momentum doesn't get cancelled in the game so they even out.Second one was the hitboxes canceling each other out. Someone made a topic on this a while back; people still don't know how it works IIRC.
What do you mean hitboxes canceling each other out?Second one was the hitboxes canceling each other out. Someone made a topic on this a while back; people still don't know how it works IIRC.

This, I think the dependant factor was whether you are still in hitstun or notThere was a thread a while ago about it, someone might be able to dig it up.
If I remember correctly, it goes like this.
In most cases, if someone has been hit, and is then hit by another move, the momentum of the first move is cancelled, and is replaced entirely with the second move's momentum.
However, if the second move comes within a short period of the first one (I can't remember if it was mentioned what that time period is), then the overall momentum is affected by both the first and second move.
Something like that anyway.
jesus, way to confuse everybody by using terminology incorrectly.Second one was the hitboxes canceling each other out. Someone made a topic on this a while back; people still don't know how it works IIRC.
