If they said there was a Smash 4 demo available at Best Buy right now you know you would be down there tryin' to play no matter how bad the service is.I'm not going to waste my time with doing that again. The Best Buy partnership is severely flawed.
Only one Wii U + 7 minutes to play + huge line + event only lasts for 2 hours = disappointmentIf they said there was a Smash 4 demo available at Best Buy right now you know you would be down there tryin' to play no matter how bad the service is.
All I hope is that it comes my local Best Buy this time. (If they do it again)

I'm guessing it was just a way to generate the same type of hype that E3 delivers, but to the largest amount of people possible? I don't see why they couldn't ALSO put demo's up on the eShop, but I don't think it's a bad idea to have a local event like that either. Why exactly did Nintendo partner with Best Buy? Would putting the demos on the eShop be that big of an issue?
I think part of the reason is because the company doesn't want to display upcoming games outside of trailers or Nintendo Directs. Why exactly did Nintendo partner with Best Buy? Would putting the demos on the eShop be that big of an issue?
