Its not hard to dair spike a computer out of a dthrow. Idunno how much harder it would be on humans, since I haven't had a chance to try it yet. But I think this might be a legitimate new FJP setup. Plus, once they're at like 33%, its a killer.

???

Try it out.

Another thing I've noticed about Dair, is it seems to be the easiest way to get opponents off the stage in a position to gimp them. And seems to be the easiest way to kill them once they're there. Everything else seems to go up too far, and they can just airdodge you. Ftilt too, but yeah. I think Dair is my new favorite aerial.

Yeah, dAir sends them horizontally off the stage. One quick ledgegrab later and you're in a nice position to gimp them.

I can't dAir Spike for the life of me.

ya dair is probably Luigi's best gimp aerial. At high percentages, it sends them really far horizontally and of course you can get the ocassional spike. Bair is also good to gimp with if your hanging on the ledge.

I'll have to try this new setup your talking about, I think it could just be airdodged, since everyone airdodges immediately after a dthrow.

Well it really has everything to do with how you've set your throw game up. There are plenty of options after a dthrow. So, at this point in the match, does your opponent want to airdodge after a throw or not? Thats the determining factor. If you can hit one of these in a match though, HOLY ****.

I dont think that's a really good combo imo. Because the person might be too low % for FJP to kill them. Instead you want to keep a dthrow dair nair utilt so forth going espically on heavier characters like D3 and such.

People always tend to airdodge after a dthrow, so usually I wait for a second for them to airdodge then go in for the **** OR go after them for another dthrow which is air-chasing, works very well on big fat pplz (d3)

After I dThrow, I either Aerial chase them, Hyphen Smash them, or wait for them to attack me from above and Spot Dodge to FJP or fSmash. If I could spike, I'd add another option to follow up the dThrow. I don't know how best to practice spiking with Luigi, though.

From 33%, dthrow to dair brings just about anyone into FJP percentages.

technically would it not be possible to combo into a FJP after any dair spike above ground?
Yes, definetly. I had just noticed how regularly I was able to Dair spike after a Dthrow. Again, I haven't had a chance to practice it against humans, so it could be completely unreliable.

The only one that can die around 30%s is Jiggs. Most light weights die at 40%s of FJP, and rest of majority of cast is around 50%+ for FJP kills.

If you've done it on cpu, I dont think it'll work on a human. Cause CPUs always airdodge after a dthrow, people with superior DI and mutiple jumps or invicble frames ( yes MK ) can breeak out of it iirc.

What I mean is, if you catch someone in a grab at 33%, by the time they're ready for the shoryuken, they'll be at 50%+

33%
pummel ->36%
dthrow -> 42%
dair ->53%
Shoryuuuuken!

Eh, I can't comphrend -_- (or spell). Feels like the same thing as Dair Nair Utilt combo lol. o wellies more options better right? I think this works on heavy fat big boxs like D3 since hes so fat and big ( just contradicted myself lol)

thats actually a much better plan than the d-throw nair, because if you get to the side of them when you dair it is an easy spike
