Dstick Drifting

Hi all. So I've been using this 9 year old GC controller that came with my first gamecube. Recently, the dstick has begun to drift up and down by itself. If I blow into the crevices, it works fine for a bit then starts to drift again.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

take apart and clean. a triwing screwdriver is $2 on ebay.
