I'm new here but I've been playing for a long time. and i came across this tech while messing with control options.

this tech allows you to use a dash attack without actually dashing. normally if someone tries to do this they would do a smash attack.

here is what is required for you to do this:
1)you must change your controller so that the c-stick is attack instead of smash.
2)and you must have a basic understanding of your characters dash animation.

doing the "daft dash":
1)initiate the dash animation by pushing joystick the direction you want to go
2)then immediately use the c-stick to initiate the dash attack
(this should make it so that you go form not moving to dash attack)
(all characters have different timings *duh*)
3)there is little to no lag and you can immediately do this again in either direction

good for starting combos and and whatnot
(i found it applicanle to fighting yet not alot of canceiling threads)

you can still dash attack without running if you tap a direction then A. however, if you're holding the stick/pad you will do a smash attack.

you dont need to change any controller settings

i call it enoch-specialing

if you set your c-stick to specials
you can push it to do specials

also, canceling out of dash animation ftw

Ummm... if you are just switching the buttons around how is that doing anything?
I'm pretty sure there is a much simpler way of doing this.

i made this move, its called janitor-knocking
you basically do the stick in a 360 motion and you can do zangiefs spinning pile drive real easy

I found this super advanced technique that I can only sometimes recreate, but if you press b on some characters they do fancy attacks!!!! ZOMG I NO LOL INNIT KEWL I call it Mordraug.....ing.
