Just a thought, but symbol 21 could not only be the symbol for the DS, but for all Nintendo hardware. The Pictochat stage has music from Wii hardware, and if there were any representatives from touch generation, they'd probably have their own symbol. (Elite Beat Agents would get their EBA Star, Brain Age would get a Check Mark, etc....)

The other option for a general hardware symbol would be 'Wii', so I think they just found the DS symbol more... symbolic. :p

And characters? This would mainly apply to Miis... Or walking systems. :D

And the light gun item could now have this symbol with it. Since it's from the SNES.

I would throw up if Mii's were confirmed. As a matter of fact, I'm about to throw up anyway. But walking Wii should be the new final boss. Or Master Hand holding a Wiimote.

R.M.B. were else?
It is just to represent the DS HARDWARE. the touch generation has its own Icon. Mii's have already been deconfirmed as a representation of you online. The music is to represent nintendo hardware/software. It is that simple.

Not that I support Miis for Brawl (I'm actually indifferent) but the Miis being icons for online play far from deconfirms them because it clearly showed icons of Mario, Kirby, etc. and I think they might be making a playable appearance in this game.

I think the icon represents "New Nintendo" or "Casual Nintendo", including both hardware and software: Wii and Wiimote; Wii Sports, Music, Play, Fit; Wii Channels (including Mii); DS and stylus; Brain Age, Face Training, Eye Training, Big Brain Academy, Picross...; Pictochat ; etc.

Of course, that's just me... Maybe it represents Nintendo hardware in general (which would include R.O.B., or maybe even playing cards). We'll know eventually... But it most likely won't be Touch Generations, or just DS hardware, since we get Wii music for this stage.

If they were repping all Nintendo hardware, they would have come up with a better logo than that.

Over there
I think that the icon would represent anything that isn't really from a game but is still Nintendo. This would apply to Mii's (they could be in as another form other than playable Characters), PictoChat stage, or perhaps items like the Wii Zapper. It could simply be that they needed a symbol for the level so they chose that but...

So, you're just regurgitating what the other thread guy said and trying to host a thread bigger than his? Don't lie, the same **** thread's on the same page.

I'm honestly astonished about how many threads and how much discussion this topic is getting.
