DRaGZ
Smash Champion
This is cancelled. Something which was supposed to occur this Saturday has been moved to the Saturday of this Brawlfest, which means this thing can't occur. I'm sorry.
Hey dudes. I said I'd never do this again, but I guess I am. No apartment-mates to piss off, and no worrying about the electricity bill.
So, the plan is basically just to have a BrawlFest the night before the Chula Vista Weekly (the seventh one, if I am not mistaken) at my house. I've never been to that weekly, and I've been somewhat disconnected from the Brawl scene for a while, so I guess this is a good way to get reacquainted.
So here's the plan:
WHO: DRaGZ a.k.a. Marvin Choi
WHAT: BrawlFest (i.e. friendlies and money matches)
WHEN:
Saturday, August 2, 2008, the day before Chula Vista Weekly VII. It'll start at around 1:00 pm and last until...Chula Vista Weekly VII.
WHERE: My house which is more like an apartment -
4160 Camino Ticino
San Diego, CA 92122
Parking is suuuuuper chill here, especially over the summer. So no worries there. And there's a lot of places to get food until 10 pm. Then you have McDonald's until 1 am, then you have Roberto's forever.
WHY: I'm bored.
HOW: You get here, we brawl, we go get some dinner maybe or order some pizza, come back, play some more Brawl, go to the Chula Vista weekly. Deal?
People can stay over, as many people as I can properly house, which is like...5-6? But you need to bring your own sleeping crap; last time I tried to accommodate Nick, Alex, and Chris and ended up failing because we literally have no other sheets. Presumably, then we'll get up in the morning to go to the Chula Vista weekly (see what I'm doin' there? I'm repeating the point of going to the Chula Vista weekly, eh? Clever subconscious semantic input? Eh?)
And please bring over Wiis and TVs. I have one Wii and two TVs, but that's it. One set does not a good BrawlFest make. And if you bring Wiis, please bring power strips; we had a problem of running out of power strips last time.
Also, a max of 10 TVs + Wiis. I'm not sure if the fuses can handle anything more than that (I'm not sure if they can even handle that).
A few rules:
If you're going to sleep over, please post in here so I could put it up here on this list...here:
People staying over:
So...anybody interested?
P.S. There's a buffet. It's five dollars, but you won't get anything.

A few rules:
- For the love of God, shower before you come here. It got smelly as **** last time, which was the primary reason why my roommates were so pissed off. Now, I'm not going to name any names (truthfully because the people of which I could name names I am sure shower regularly), but for the love of God, please come fresh.
- You can stay over, but you need to bring your own sleeping-over crap.
- If you decide to sleep over, please keep quiet past 10 pm. There is a very very nice lady next door who makes the best fudge ever who I don't ever want to disturb because she's so very nice and makes such good fudge.
- Most likely no tourny. However, if you want a tourny, I'd rather have the buy-in be small and the tio handling has to be done on someone else's laptop they need to bring (I tried running tio on my computer, but I can't because I can't uninstall this ****ty .NET framework I have. Go figure).
If you're going to sleep over, please post in here so I could put it up here on this list...here:
