Yesterday I was playing around with ZSS so I grabbed the ledge and accidentally pressed Down-B. She did Down-B but she jumped very low enough to hit a kirby.

Is this a new technique I discovered or has it already been discovered?

In one of Chillin's videos of his zamus, he accidently did it on pokemon stadium, but no one really made a discussion about it. I can't say I ko'd someone doing it off the ledge, but under the right circumstances, like your incident, it is useful. Guess I'll need to try to look out for more chances at it =(

Darn it, I was just gonna announce this. Just hit down to drop off the ledge and down b back on instantaneously. Works like a charm, 'specially against Marth and Ike.

Honestly, this technique is no different from a staple in Melee: dropping from a ledge and using your midair jump to get over the ledge and attack, except instead you use down+B as both the jump and attack (since the down in down+B drops you from the ledge).

Don't try it on Melee Pokemon Stadium. You will fall almost every time because of the shape of the edge. I also don't think she falls off when you use it. It seems like a separate recovery than falling off then using Down + B.
