or double shine pillar i forget the name. can someone explain how this works. im guessing its two consecutive shines. and i've learned you can jump to cancel a shine but im still not following how two shines hit consecutively....

another question any tips recovering with falco. i know forward b and up b are his recoveries... forward b covering most horizontal... up b generally sucking but doing some vertical and virtually little horizontal. i practice level 9 comps. i know you say you shouldn't but i just want pressure as im trying out advance techniques and stuff... well at times i seem to get edge guarded at lets say 30% which is pathetic. mainly if my first recovery fails... such as getting hit out of the phantasm. i know to sweet spot the ledge for the move and all that but still...

the double shine is when you shine with Falco, then jump, then shine again. The easiest to do this is hold down and press B then x/Y over and over. I love doing this for style points and stuff. The double shine pillar is 2 shines, then a dair. If you want to see it, watch "You just got Shiz'd on" which is a falco combo video on youtube. It's at the very end. He doubleshine pillars a fox and breaks his shield.

For the second part, im not going to even answer because if you know you shouuldnt practice with level 9 comps, why do you still do?

I practice with level 9 comps and still do really good, it's alot easier for me and helps me improve. I also use the control stick to do my double shines, it's some good stuff.

But in training against level 9 comps, you really are going to make it harder for yourself at tourneys.

Nah, I figured it's better for me to fight a level 9 then any other level because they just grab you or attack you right out of your attacks. It helps me think of some nice approaches. If you fight a level 2-5 sure you can learn some neat combos here and there but will they really work against a human player all the time? Got to think if you can even pull the combo off on a human player, you will never know if they are super aggressive. I can combo Level 9's just fine, I'm going to stick to em.
