So, this is my first moveset, but, unfortunately, it's double battles only. And, seeing as competitive Pokemon only does singles, I'm not going to post this in the Technique Dex since I'll prolly get tagged as a noob. I'm posting it here for anyone that want's to use it for teh lulz.
Now, I'll just CAP from a message to UncleSam, and be on my way.

Cherrim
Item@Leftovers
252HP/252DEF/6SPD
Bold(+DEF,-ATK)
Flower Gift(Raises party's Spec. Def. and Speed when Sunny)

Sunny Day
Synthesis
Helping Hand
SolarBeam/Protect/HPRock/Toxic/Aromatherepy

This Cherrim is basically an assister in DBs, especially for Fire types. Sunny Day is to start up Flower Gift, boost Fire type teammates, give SB no startup if you chose it, and to see that cute little face!

Now, you can see I stressed HP, Defence, and Special Defence, because Cherrim can't assist when it's dead. So, due to those stats, you can go with Toxic to make it a Toxisster.

Synthesis is there to keep Cherrim alive, as are the leftovers.

Speed is also necessary to help you get moves in.

Helping Hand is to really make it an assister. It boost your teammate's Attack and Special Attack. What kind of an assister doesn't have Helping Hand?

SolarBeam gets STAB, and that's if you wanna add in a little offense. HP Rock is to stop Fire,Flying, and Bug types. Toxic is there to make Cherrim a Toxisster. Protect is there in case you like to use Lava Plume, which damages all Pokes. And Aromatherepy is if you really wanna go all out assister, as it clears up status ailments.

Enjoy.

Ummm, well, I checked a sticky by Umbreon, and it had the standards/rules for competitive play. It said single Pokemon battles only. I could be wrong. If so, I'll gladly post it in the Tech Dex.

The Strategy Dex may be for only single battles, seeing as the Strategy Dex is a place to put movesets and strategies for Pokémon as a reference for some of the best ones you could use. However, there ARE competitive double battles.

Also, you don't have to post a moveset in the Strategy Dex to post it in the Pokémon section, you can always post it in The Rating Room...

EDIT: Wait, are you talking about the "Standard Rules DPP" thread in The Rating Room? That's just the Standard Rules. There are varying rules in every competitive game, including Smash, it just means that those are the most commonly used ones.

Competitive doubles are far more enjoyable for me. As for this, you're probably going to find better responses in the Pokémon Center.

Well, thanks for clearing that up Firus, Teran. I'll post it in the Rating Room sometime today.
