Earlier today I was playing Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and posted a stage on Miiverse. The stage was a recreation of Skyloft from Project M. No more than 5 minuets after posting it was deleted with the reason that my post was related to criminal activity. Only Skyloft was deleted, not my recreation of Temple. This leads me to believe that Nintendo considers the use of mods like Project M is illegal. I can't help but wonder if that post would have been deleted if I didn't mention Project M.

Here are the screen shots:

Dose Nintendo consider Project M illegal? Is the use or distribution of Project M illegal? Am I a criminal? What do you guys think? Let me know by voting or commenting below.

Also I didn't know whether I should have posted this thread here or in Smash Wii U General Discussion.

If your post contains "Project M" or sometimes just "PM" it will be deleted.

Also, of course you're not a criminal for just playing a mod of a game rofl.

This exercise is mostly meaningless, this board isn't filled with legal experts by any means. Additionally Nintendo does not dictate the law, though they can choose whether to act on it.
