Dolphin Issues

I apologize if this isn't 100% Smash related, I'm having problems configuring my Mayflash adapter to my Macbook Pro, and I feel as though this community might know something about it. Is this one http://www.amazon.com/GC-Controller-Adapter-PC/dp/B0089NVTDM even compatible with a Macbook Pro? If so, how do I go about configuring it so I can play Melee with my Gamecube controller? I'm uncertain if not having a PC affects any of this.
