Does this mean Gannondorf and Luigi are confirmed?

I don't know, You can't really trust them. They probably got those from SSBM credits or something.
I'm thinking official characters would all be in gaming articles and such.
I think the latest announcement of official characters was in that JapanWorld (or whatever) thing, where Fox was introduced at the end.
I'm guessing they will be in Brawl, but you have to wait for the officials to make their call, first.

I honestly have no idea. No witty comment from me, either.
What site is that, anyways? I've never seen it before, and thus can't tell if it's valid. It definitely doesn't mean that they're 100% confirmed, but it is odd that they include Luigi and Ganon while leaving other characters out.

From the looks of it, the site looks like a movie database, for movie reviews.

IMDB is a really good site thats been around for ages. Look up any upcoming movie and they usually have its cast and its usually spot on too.

Still, it wouldn't feel right to not have them in Brawl at this point. Ganondorf is one of the only villans in Smash, originating from an immensely popular game, and Luigi is the kind of person who would expect his bro to get him a VIP pass for a concert but doesn't really want to because he wants Luigi to stay home but eventually comes around and gives it to him anyways because Mario knows Luigi would just dash attack him over and over until he gave in out of annoyance. *whew* Little brothers... glad I'm an only child...

IMDB has been wrong before (the Tekken movie anyone,) but for the most part, they're usually right.

IMDB is wrong all the time. Know how I know? Because people keep posting topics like this, and they're always wrong. They put that name down for Ganondorf because whoever put it up just assumed Ganondorf would be in, and that's the same guy who did his voice in Melee. They also listed Charles Martinet because they assumed Luigi would be back, and Martinet does indeed voice Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.
It's a load of BS, and please stop posting this stupid stuff on our website kthx.
