Does the reduced landing lag on neutral air dodges cause problems?

It seems neutral air dodges have 10 or 12 frames of landing lag, compared to 21 in Smash 4. I'm worried that this could make some grounded attacks against aerial opponents much riskier. If you fast fall air dodge, you can land quickly and act quickly afterwards, allowing you to punish up smashes with long reach and short hitbox durations, like Ike's or Ganondorf's. Does anyone else see this being a problem? It seems like a big mistake to make neutral air dodges have less landing lag than directional ones.

Well, I think this could be annoying. Moves with long vertical reach but high ending lag are generally used for anti-air purposes, but now you can easily air dodge through them and punish them. If you air dodge sideways, you'll evade the attack, but the user of the attack won't be punished. However, with a neutral air dodge, you can punish the user of the attack. I think it will be annoying because generally, characters with long reach should be able to defend against aerial opponents unless they mistime their attack. Now, even if it is perfectly timed, an attack like Ike's up smash is useless against an opponent who can fast fall air dodge.

It's probably a lot harder to fast-fall neutral air dodge; you'd just directional air dodge straight down.

Eh, I'm not so sure, I think you'd just have to press shield before fast falling, although I can't test it out quite yet. I guess I haven't seen anyone else do it yet, but I don't think it would be that hard to do.

Here early on you can see Snake fast fall neutral air dodge towards Ganondorf. Ganondorf was below a platform, so he couldn't land right next to him, but you can see how Snake can act almost immediately afterwards, so Ganondorf couldn't use an up smash against him safely if there wasn't a platform in the way.
