Does Sonic still say Your Too Slow?

I've heard they changed it to him saying Sonic Speed, But i haven't seen any proof on this because nobody bothers to taunt.

Is it true?

I tested it myself at the event, he does indeed no longer say it.

It is replaced with "Sonic Speed!"

Sakurai has brought dishonor upon this franchise. It's a good thing we're getting Psychopath Villager and probably Captain Falcon, or otherwise I'd be calling it quits.

Pretty sure that was done by the localization team. I wonder if Sega had to Okay the audio.

Anyways, hopefully it's added in the final product. We'll know soon enough

I'm thinking those are placeholders.

"Super Sonic Style" is literally ripped from the final boss of Sonic Generations. Here, there's even a Sparta remix of it:

Interesting. If it was "literally ripped", it might be possible that for legal reasons they just switched out Jason Griffith's work and swapped in old lines from Roger Craig Smith for the time being. Didn't consider that they could be placeholders.

I guess only time will tell. I don't mind "Super Sonic Style" but I'd really like "You're too slow!" to return. It's just so iconic now.

I think its incredibly possible Marth's voice may be tentative, and eventually Marth will get a full English voice. But either way, I do think these are placeholders for now. Fox's voice sounds like crap (ripped straight from 64) and based on what we've heard, the voices in the demo are drawn straight from Brawl, or ripped from other games. Plus, the demo seems to predate the Smash Bros. Direct, as the expressions were updated and more refined during the Smash Direct than at E3.

So yeah, I think they just haven't gotten the voicework done for Sonic yet.
