Does mortor-slide work on all characters?

Simple question, has anyone ever tried this on other characters or does it only work for snake?

Now I know that you wont *actually* mortor slide but still do the sliding up-smash.

Not all characters. Works with Falco though.

I'm pretty sure Wario and Link can do the sliding USmash.

As far as i know wario, link, falco, snake, and possibly squirtle can do this.

Squirtle can, but it uses a different method. It uses his turnaround animation and doing a tech. with that. Search for shellshifting on youtube

Only a few characters get a worthwhile boost out of it, and most of them are much tougher then Snake's.

but snakes is much easier becuz of his frames, every1 else it like da 1st or 2nd frame but they say so far links and snakes is da easiest while shiek is hard becuz you hav 2 do it on the first frame, but its all in the vid

falcon can do it 2,well thats what i know of and i think metaknight

yeah, that vids missing a lot of people.

I think it's possible to do it with just about everyone, but most people don't get a good boost out of it.

Off the top of my head, I can do it well enough with Snake, Wolf, Falco, MK, Link, Sheik, Wario

EDIT: I'm pretty sure just about EVERY character can do it, but some just don't get much distance on the slide

It actually works on quite a few characters, but it doesn't benefit some because a simple running UpSmash works better.

You have to remember that you are canceling your dash attack into an upsmash which for Snake his dash attack is very fast. Which is why he gets the most benefit from it

theres a lota chars this works with but some are so small they dont even slide as much as u want to.

link,jiggs, wario,shiek,and link are all good exampples of chars that this is even as useful as snakes

Why link twice? Anywho, I've only done this with Snake. I'll have to try to do it with all the characters.
