Does GW deserve to return?

there are many character we know are coming back but there are a few that are just like eh well GW is one of those characters. should he come back or would he be a waste if he were to return. my opinion is very mixed so i want to see urs.

Yoshi doesn't talk and he is in the story mode. Your point being? Not ALL the characters have to be included in the story mode.

Not really. You don't know if Sakurai set the single player up differently. If it is a full length side scroller like Sakurai said, it would make more sense for you to only play as certain characters and go through the story as it gives it to you than to have different stories and cutscenes for 40+ characters.

I love G&W he is with no doubt my favorite melee character, he was fun to use, altough i was not as good with him as i was with luigi or sheik, but hey, i still won some tournaments using him

Yet, i wouldnt really be mad if he doesnt makes it back in brawl, cause i like to change my mains, in ssb64 mario and ness, in melee the 3 i mentioned, and most likely i will change in brawl too

But still, g&w was a secret non clone character, so, if ness, jiggly, falcon and luigi came back for melee, i guess marth,mewtwo and g&w deserve to come back as well, not the same story for the clones, they are.. well, clones, but the others no, they are smash brothers XD so they deserve a spot in brawl

i thought he kicked it just fine in melee. sure, beef up his defence a bit, give him some minor tweaking to make him more balanced, but otherwise he'd be perfect for brawl. for one thing since you don't really need to improve his graphics you can use the same model from melee, albiet with a few tweaks. now as for the moveset it can stya how it is, juswt configure the original character model so it has all of the new abilities of the other smashers this time around. if anything he has the highest chances of returning simply because he would be so easy to impliment. and since when was he the wtf character, sure he was the last unlockable and he was a bit shocking, but you could make him playable from the start of brawl and you wouldn't hear anyone complaining. i think the whole anti G@W trend that is going around is simply because the person in question didn't like G@W, or it wasn't his style, so he doesn't care is G@W goes. he/she also figures that with him out of the way that leaves room for other additions, maybe people that would not have gotten in had it not been for that extra space.

Game & Watch is more deserving than most characters in my opinion, he was the first Nintendo character ever. Also he is actually a decent fighter(and unique), most people don't really give him a chance, he has great priority and really good air attacks.
