Does anyone use the Replay Channel?

The Replay Channel allows you to watch random smash battles of other people, you can watch For Fun smash battles, For Fun team smash, For Glory smash battles, team smash and 1-on-1 battles, you can also choose character specific replays.
It's similar to Spectate but the matches are recorded and not live.

Me specifically? I find this mode to be quite enjoyable, mostly watching For Glory 1-on-1's is entertaining and I can learn some interesting stuff.

I can tell you with absolute confidence that Spectate matches are not live.

Can confirm. Sometimes I spectate so long that it recycles the matches it gives me, and thus guarantees my bet win.

Plus, spectating with lag would suck.

You know, the same thing happens to me in the Replay Channel.

I've actually used the Replay Channel a few times. Not too much, but I do like seeing the occasional 1v1 For Glory match featuring my favorite characters from time to time.

I started it once, got a random replay with random players doing random stuff, thought 'PC master race' and watched a SC2 replay of my chosing.
The replay channel is a joke.

I use it a lot before since I don't have any way of gathering info for playstyles on Olimar since no one's been featuring on him yet =.= But now, not so much.

I've used it a few times actually when in the first few days I got the game. It was interesting to see people's tactics and FG matches on specific characters you choose. I like that feature that it's not random and you have a choice, even when some matches were.... jeez. If I pick a character for replay, I also expect them to win, too.

Since then I totally forgot about it.

I watch it from time to time. It's kind of interesting to see people's play style of a character and how drastically different it can be from player to player at this point in the game.

Yes I completely agree; Replay Channel should have an option to view replays where your character of choice wins. It's not much use watching tactics that ultimately cost the player the game is it? XD

Yeah, I once tried for a replay of Ness in Free-for-all, and I got a very bad Ness player who PK Thunder SD'd WAY too many times.

I do use It sometimes, whenever I feel like revisiting those epic battles while I bring in a drink and a snack.

I've used the function a few times, but it was mostly when I first got the game. It was cool to watch actual players use characters that I wanted to play or learn more about. Whether the character I chose won or lost, it helped see what tactics do or don't help.

I've even watched them with a friend! We both got on our 3DSs and chose the same character at the same time and got the same replays in order. I guess it's set to a playlist that refreshes with new replays after a certain amount of time. Either way, it's a cool feature and I'm happy just to have it.

I use it to see how others play characters i want to pick up. Would be cool if they were live but meh.... LAG.

I used it for a while, it was fun to see what other people did with my characters and it was a nice distraction while I ate or whatever. Of course I find watching Smash more interesting when it's really skilled players with commentary so I gave it up in favor of VGbootcamp videos.
