I repeat. Does anyone have frame data on snake's mortar slide?
I've practiced the slide some, and I can get it on average about a third of the time. Usually, I fail repeatedly and then nail it repeatedly. I use the c-stick method where you tap down and then tap up. Tap jump is off. I was just wondering if there was frame data available for the slide.
I was also wondering if anyone had any more tips about how to do mortar sliding. I know there are lots of threads, but most of the time people just say, tap down and then up as fast as you can. I do that pretty consistently, but I can't do the slide consistently. I wavedashed consistently and well in melee with all characters, and I did waveshining and other technical stuff with fox and other characters, so I tend to think of myself as reasonably adept at technical stuff. Just to list other things: I can consistently do alternating throws with ICs, autocancelled ganon dairs, B momentum shifts, perfect shielding, SHDA with toon link, etc. Basically, I'm trying to say that I'm good at doing techniques, but consistent mortar sliding eludes me. Can anyone help?
