They are. They just aren't going to jump in your lap.

It'll help to grow up.
I'm 18 I'm already grown up. Plus most girls have been incredibly mean to me, so it's natural I'd make a thread like this at some point.

They'd probably be nicer to you if you were respectful toward them, instead of making insulting generalizations about their gender.

Her acting...OH GOD HER GODDAMN ACTING IS SO BAD!!!
It's not that bad. Regardless of whatever you think of her acting, that doesn't make her a horrible person or anything.

I think this is actually a pretty gross topic, because you are like a) this is what I want girls to be, wah, and b) you are pretty objectifying. I'm going to chalk it up to you having little to no social awareness, but maybe you could be less crappy as a person!

It's **** like this that keeps me out of the nerd community. Women don't owe you anything, sport. Maybe if you didn't hate yourself so much you could maybe pull your head out of you know where and actually start working on building up your own personality rather than feeling dejected, rejected, and entitled to speak about 51% of the human race.

I did not have much luck when I was younger with the ladies, mostly because I was shy, awkward and had rage issues that I needed to work through - this isn't an uncommon trait, and honestly my dating history is mostly checkered - the perceived notion of how relationships and dating works is a very stilted and screwed up thing - you can meet the right person if you have the right mindset for it. I live with the love of my life in our home with two pets in NYC, and I couldn't be happier. You know how I got this way? PULLING MY HEAD OUT OF MY REAR AND STOPPED ACTING LIKE THE WORLD OWED ME ANYTHING.

You owe it to yourself to try harder.

I... What? I'm not even sure if this is trolling or not.
You're confused because he's using a tone of voice that suggests all his comments seem natural to him and open for discussion, however his actual posts are actually incredibly off kilter and not conducive to being serious in the slightest.

Considering his previous choice of avatar was Heffer from Rocko's Modern Life who was a gag character whose antics largely stemmed from stupidity and present choice being some incredibly creepy brony cosplay I'd say that these factors push for people to have a bad first impression even before they start reading his content. Also considering his title and the fact that the actual post only has url links to other sources suggests that he has no fundamental interest in actually having a discussion about his point of view. Which is at odds with him trying to elaborate that he has a flawed view because he was bullied by women. Note that as the conversation progresses he doesn't make any points to really defend himself or provide additional reasoning as to his 'beliefs'. He's just writing commentary that makes people think lower of him and despise him more.

I believe that 'Booster' isn't representative of the poster's true personality. It's a gimmick to type dysfunctional and self-criminalizing content in order to piss people off and warrant reactions so he can either enjoy the polar responses for what they are or try to escalate pre-existing ones when he gets bored in order to generate even more content from people who want to tell 'Booster' to 'go get a life'. However, I think that in reality Booster has more social awareness than most people who are taking this thread at face value and is manipulating people's feelings to give himself a certain emotional high from looking at the reactions he gets.

Normally, it's the original poster's responsibility to make the backpedaling "No, it's all a social experiment, you're the real idiots!" rant, but in this unique case, Acrostic has taken up the sword.

Also I'm not sure how you'd read a Heffer avatar to mean "Secretly a subtle multilayered genius of manipulation," instead of "nostalgic about 90s cartoons."

In my opinion the Heffer avatar (his first) is representative of what the account represents to him. The current one (his second) is to bring us to his point of view. Also I've never seen anyone use the 'social experiment' explanation because it looks like a poor excuse, makes them look stupid, and results in everyone ignoring them. The end situation being undesirable to both trolls and people trying to make a serious point on the topic.

Also I never said that Booster was a genius of manipulation. I just conveyed my personal feeling that people who take a thread like this at face value are inept themselves. Mind you I'm not calling out on any posts because the whole point is that a post doesn't have to represent an actual opinion and there are times when it's just enjoyable to feed the troll and see where he will go with the thread.

It's par for the course when someone gets called out for their terrible opinions, along with "I was trolling all along!"

His feelings toward women are terrible but pretty mild compared to sincere MRAs, so if he's trolling he's not doing a great job of it. Especially since the responses he's been getting are either agreement or along the lines of "Please be a better person."

If you want to take him at face value then be my guest. I don't understand why you're trying to escalate this.

You're free to continue using the "Cool, detached internet person," schtick all you like but I happen to care about some things, and calling out misogyny is one of them. I'm sticking to the belief that Booster is a dumb kid who might actually learn something if he cares to listen.

Or maybe I'm the one performing a ruse, trolling you all with this social justice loser mask, as represented by the head of my avatar, my true self, being apart from the body, how I present myself on the forum. Who knows!

You're 18, yes. Grown up, no.

There are women like that out there, more than there has ever been at any point in history.

But obsessing over them, making idiotic comments like "I don't want to go tampon shopping, purfume smells terrible, makeup tastes yuck" (have you actually kissed anyone with makeup on? Hell, one of the big marketing point of a lot of them is that it doesn't come off when rubbed/kissed) aren't going to do anything to attract any woman, let alone one like that, because you come across as someone who thinks that more people should do what you think. Which isn't attractive in any way.

This thread isn't going to go anywhere, so lets just leave it at that. I hope you can mature, because trolling or not, either way, you need it.
