Does anyone else do....

A downthrow on little platforms? (Like the ones on pokemon stadium)? I've been doing this a lot lately, and so far ive been able to pull a lot of other moves out of it since i can follow them easily with fox's speed on the platform. Hell even when they DI behind me and try to get up with their A attack from the ground move I can D-smash them before then.

Anyone else do this? or have been doing this? Everytime i watch fox videos i never see them do this.

try downthrow and fall down through the platform and then attack. If you stay on the platform with them you have to guess about the get-up attack or you might miss from tech invincibility.

I prefer to jump up through the platform with upairs.

Agree with UmbreonMow... Definitely fall through and immediatly hop up into a uair

I suggest bairs(maybe a nair too) if it'll hit and the situation is right, since it's easier to hit one of those.

I find this useful for techchasing, and sometimes, if caught by surprise and the enemy isn't too good, then they will miss the tech and will be opened for any quick attack like upsmash/downsmash etc.

I rather put the shield if they get up attacking and then JC up-smash out of it.

D-throw on platforms is too good.

i dont do it, but sometimes i glitch a downthrow on the dge of FD (and other stages) to kill lol

(just walk to the edge until your about to fall off, and then shieldgrab or something->downthrow :D)

That's no glitch. And it's easily canceled(as it's a meteor), also can be teched if it hits a wall. I think they can DI onto the stage too.

I like to do dthrow dsmash on those platforms.
dsmash is like fox's weakest move after his jab so I'm going to have a try at those drop and jump random aerial aerial.
