Do you think today's update (2/26) means no more infinite jabs?

Do you think it means infinites are gone? Or have the options coming out of them just been tweaked?

Yeah I was noticing that today. Provided it's not other players DI-ing into the attacks (seems fairly unlikely given how little movement happens at all) I'm back to leaning towards option 1 again.
Yea no one DI's in that trailer. It bugs me for some reason. I hope that you arent just stuck like some kind of idiot. hopefully you can DI out of those attacks. But if they are no longer infinite then it would be hard to DI' out of. I guess they are trying to make those kinds of moves actually useful in a competitive sense.

I'm not so sure.

I like to experience and feel things for myself. While it sounds like infinite jabs are being removed, it's hard to tell from the pic. I guess we'll have to wait and see in the final game.

If infinite jabs are removed, this should nerf characters like Meta Knight.

I can see infinite jabs being cancelled into the finisher after releasing the attack button or pressing the attack button a second after the last hit of the infinite. If anything, I can see this making infinite combos a more reliable way to stack damage in short time (Yes, the purpose I always used them for!) This is further supported if infinite no longer can be DI'd, as is hinted when Little Mac combos DK in his trailer.

I'd be okay with either non-infinites that can't be DI'd out of, or infinites that end with a finisher when you release the attack button but can be DI'd out of.

But then again, if people can just DI out of a jab, why even have a finisher that a lot of people can just escape anyway?

Do you guys think that these changes will affect the fan?
Honestly I hope the fan is just flat out removed, but if it returns I'd be surprised if it doesn't retain it's same annoying gimmick.
