Do you think that the Wii U GameCube adapter will work with a computer?

Due to my Wii no longer reading discs, I have to play Melee on Dolphin. However, I don't have an adapter, so I play on keyboard. I would love to play with a GameCube controller again, though. My question is: will the GameCube adapter released for the Wii U work with Dolphin? I ask this because most Wii U and Wii USBs work with computers, and this one might.

We won't know anything until the adapter is out but knowing nintendo, no.

However we do have some really amazing people here so I'm sure if it doesn't work that way, people will find a way to do just that

That would be awesome, but I think we won't find out till late November!
