Do you think that Smash Bros Wii U version will be better than 3DS version?

Knowing that 3DS version will be released in the Summer and Wii U version will be released in the Winter. I'll explain some reasons why the Wii U version of Smash Bros 4 will be better than 3DS version.

• More characters
• Possibly it will have a story mode
• More space on the disc
• The Wii U console will be sold better

What do you think about this?

They'll have the same roster. The Wii U doesn't have as big of a base as the 3ds does so the 3ds will sell better than the Wii U. At least initially. The Wii U version and 3ds version will be different but equal.

Better in the sense that it will probably feel better to play.

It won't have more characters, but so far I like the stages better, and it's in HD so it looks fantastic. Also hoping for stage builder for the Wii U version.

Normally, a game on a console will always be better than on a handheld, though both do have their pros and cons.

Some of your reasons aren't correct, however. Both versions will feature the same characters, neither version will feature a SSE-esque adventure mode, and the Wii U version will definitely not outsell its handheld counterpart due to install base.

If I had to list the pros for either versions, then:

Wii U version
+ Big screen
+ Control options
+ Local multiplayer advantage
+ HD graphics

3DS version
+ Portability
+ StreetPass
+ Smash Run

I think that people are going to end up having 3DS vs Wii U wars just like Melee vs Brawl and that this thread is in no way productive.

The 3DS defenders that say the WiiU should be sold without the Gamepad and the WiiU fanboys hating on the "3DS version holding the game back" while real Nintendo fans just play both?

we are trying to refrain from Wii U vs 3DS threads as they can lead to flame wars so I will be closing this thread.

Both games will have the same roster btw.
