Do you think 3ds data will carry over to the wii u?

I'm very curious about this because its a pain in the butt collecting all these custom moves and equipment and I don't wanna have to do it all over again..not to mention unlocking all the characters again. do you guys think we'll be able to transfer our data to the Wii u Version?

I hope so. It's taking forever to unlock alternate specials even with the home screen exploit. It's ridiculous.

Maybe with the "Connect to WiiU" button, you'll be able to do that. Or maybe not, just a wild guess

Customized Characters do, So custom moves probably will as-well.

I believe all of your unlockables will probably get transferred over. The 3ds build was specifically built for mostly offline play so it makes sense.


However i have one major concern; do we need to use the same nnid profile we used on our 3ds for the wiiu version?


I ran into the old problem of getting a wiiu and needing to transfer the id over. I asked the nintendo cs rep. over the phone about this problem for smash and he said he didnt know.

i imagine thats what the "Connect to Wii U" is for. I cant imagine they'd let them play together and use the 3DS as another controller, graphical and speed reasons.
Since its suppose to be the same exact game, except a few levels i hear, data sharing would make sense. Especially since you can just use both system's wifi to connect them, so all you need is the coding to do it and no additional hardware

I hope so but I'm pretty sure everything will transfer. I doubt Sakurai would make us go through everything, & not have all of our customs & trophies we've put in time for.
