I hate how dumbed down Sakurai has made the matchmaking..
There is such a thing as too kid friendly.

No matter, though, this forum will eliminate the friend code problem, so I'll only be playing the matchmaking in times of sheer boredom.

I'll be playing "With anyone" the most though. When I want to be serious I'll do Wii friend code with someone here. I'm sure there will be a big thread or sub-forum for it.

The Wi-Fi is a poor excuse for online play no matter what you say. It will always point back to mediocre. That's what most of the magazines are saying and some of the sites online. Nintendo needs to work on the online play. Sakurai has made some mistakes that could and should be corrected before it releases. Face it, it's a nice try and I'm happy for Smash online, but it seems as if there's no effort for improvement.

Pretty much, if you want to just relax, play against the world. If you want to actually practice, Friend codes. But we should still play Brawl like we do Melee: with get togethers and Smashfests and tournaments: we're a community. So in other words, I just like that we have Wi-fi. Yet, I would probably fall in love if it turns out to have a much lower lag than expected. All in all, BRAWL is going to be amazing, and Wi-fi is an added bonus. [Even if the bonus is only sub-par]
