Do you care about Brawl-? If so plz help

So I heard from a friend that AN (specifically NJ/NY) used to be, well, really big on Brawl-... I know you guys are the competitive edge, so I need your help.

Basically, I'm trying to lower the randomness present in Brawl-, and facing some resistance from other devs, mostly because they feel it'd alienate the fanbase. Knowing that a large number of you guys either do or used to play Brawl-, and AN is the competitive edge around here... Wanna help the game progress towards the direction of competitiveness?

i can't speak for most of AN but as a big proponent of brawl- before it kinda fell off around here, i think people just got kinda fed up with the imbalance and the shallow gameplay of it. i mean, it's a whole hell of a lot of fun, and we had a great time while it lasted, but it clearly shouldn't be played in tournaments. it had its run and it was fun while it lasted, but we all just kinda grew out of it.

You should see 2.0... AFAICT, we've dealt with, well, pretty much all of said imbalance and shallow gameplay.
