Do you believe in magic....

...using characters will be more prevalent in Brawl?

With the sticker power-up update, we see a screen shot of a sticker that boosts magic by 13. However, the only magic character we have for sure at this point in time is Zelda.

The sticker of Claus specifically says PSI, which means Lucas and Ness don't count.

It is possible that this could supply to some moves of Pokemon, but I believe PSI is closer to magic than Pokemon moves so I doubt it.

What other possible magic using characters are there who have somewhat of a shot?

Geno
Ganondorf
Vaati
Micaiah
Zant
Midna
Isaac
Felix

(I'm sure there are some characters I'm forgetting, so go ahead and tell me.)

Geno seems unlikely to get any benefit from magic, since he would likely only have 2 actual magic attacks

Ganondorf would almost certainly have a few magic attacks, possibly incorporated into his A moves even.

Vaati IS a magician. Same with Micaiah, Zant, and Midna.

Isaac or Felix both have magic, however Psynergy could easily go the way of PSI, getting its own category.

Geno seems unlikely to fit in, Vaati and Zant don't have great chances to be in. Ganondorf is a near certainty. Micaiah and Midna both have decent chances, as do Isaac and Felix. However the latter could get their own category. So to further edit the list:

Ganondorf
Micaiah
Midna

So with Ganondorf almost certainly having some magic, we can assume there will be at least 2 magic users (Even though it doesn't seem like enough to warrant its own stat, there may only be 2 characters who use PSI.) However, PSI has 2 characters who heavily rely on PSI at least.

Do you think the fact that there is only one character who heavily relies on magic, and one who will probably not have a very magic heavy moveset, make another magical character more likely?

There are a handful of attacks that I would guess could be considered "magical". Ike is clearly a magic user (though it's largely combat-oriented magic), metaknight's neutral b wouldn't be completely out of the question (though it could just as easily be something else), pit's arrows are clearly not standard arrows...

I would say that while Zelda may be the only pure-magic user (we'll see what they do with Ganondorf), there are plenty of other random attacks that could justify it as a "stat" worthy of adjustment without them really having to add in other characters.

That said, we can only hope, aye? Only about a week!

I guess Ike *could* count as magic between eruption and Ragnell being a magical sword, but I have my doubts on that one. Even so, most people wouldn't use that sticker on those characters unless they had multiples of that one, and not any stickers better suited to that character. Plus 13 seems like a large bonus so I doubt that will ever be the case.

Since there is a slashing and fire damage bonus, I highly doubt he'd receive magic as well

I had forgotten about specific element bonuses. Like I said though, I don't think magic will be helping Ike anytime soon.
