Do Wavebird controllers have delay and If so is it anything substantial?

Have 2 basically brand new wavebird controllers I've barely used since I was a kid and kinda wanted to start using them for melee

It's substantial. I think there's a post somewhere with more accurate results given in ms and the sort but iirc the delay is usually around 2-3 frames.

Either way they're banned in the MIOM ruleset (due to some frequency issues that having multiple wavebirds in the same room can have)
