Do the Sm4sh GC controllers work on original Wii?

Yes they work on the original backwards compatible Wii's. You can also order them in white on Ebay and they're usually cheaper than buying them in a store even when you factor in shipping.

They're literally GCN controllers. They even work with the GCN itself.

nice they do look good, but with me having a black wii i had to get the ones we have in NA.

I can confirm they work on Gamecube as well.

I didn't know they made them in white, too.

I'll have to nab the white one at some point. I have the black one, and I like some variety in my controllers. I need more GCN controllers anyways.
